Excellent location, very friendly welcome and host Tony was always available and helpful. The little gite was very well equipped and tastefully decorated.
We were there during an extreme heatwave, the gite was very hot inside making it difficult to sleep despite having two fans. Air con would have been most welcome.

We booked la-vieille-grange for 12 days in July 2026 for my family of 4. We were warmly welcomed by the host Tony, who showed us around the spacious house and large garden. We found some very nice treats in the fridge (wine and cheese) 🙂. It was a very hot period, so the garden was going through rough times and was very hot and dry. The nice cooling pool, which was maintained perfectly, was used very regularly, especially by the children.
There's lots to do in the area; waterparks, swimming lakes, a zoo and climbing forests for the children and wine tasting, brocantes, (food)markets and a visit to Bergerac/Bordeaux for the parents.
The house is very spacious with lots of rooms, good beds, properly cleaned and with a complete kitchen inventory. Also, the possibility of using the washing machine was very convenient.
We had a great stay and great coffee/English breakfast at Le Tube Station Café in Eymet.

The hosts of this beautiful property, Janice and Tony, went out of their way to give us such a memorable stay. A fantastic welcome pack greeted us on arrival and we felt very much at home. I can highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay near to Eymet.
