If you're hoping to hit the quiet, northern chunk of Ishigaki, this is a reasonably priced, nice little guesthouse.
Nicely secluded off the main road, with a little supermarket and lunch spot (the only ones this far north) nearby, if it's peace and quiet you're looking for, this is the spot. The quiet, secluded beach is only a short walk away and, the hotel being msotly empty, I slept at night with the widows open and the forest/jungle/sea sounds were a blessing. Loved it.
If you want a bit of craic at night there's no point coming this far north, there's nothing going on (apart from Taira Family, five minutes away, who'll happily pick you up and drop you off) so this place might not be for some. I made the mistake of booking this place without breakfast and the eating-out options this far north are very thin on the ground,
