Underwhelming

Location good, 10min walk from city centre. Property was nice. At least we didn't get charged the full deposit like a lot of other people leaving reviews have stated

Unelss you read the small print before booking, you get there to realise that practically all the things that make you book in the first place are paid. Hot tub, sauna, grill, even parking! Stay is very involved with host, which i find annoying as we expect to book a stay and that should be that unless something goes wrong. Camera facing tub and sauna. Potential noise mesuring device fitted in living room too.

The worst stay of my life. I don't recommend it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to describe the experience of staying in this apartment. I was so disappointed right before checking in. When I made the reservation, I was sure and planned to stay on ul. Sw. Ducha. I chose this location specifically, but half an hour before check-in, I received a completely different address. The street was further away and not as attractive, dark and gloomy. As soon as I entered the staircase, I was hit by a terrible stench of damp, a dark staircase, and, to make matters worse, it was on the third floor without an elevator. The apartment was divided in half, meaning one entrance and two rooms closely adjacent to each other. That is, a shared small hallway and two doors, number A and B. Only a thin wall shared this apartment with other tenants. There was no privacy, because in the evening you could hear all the voices and noises just outside the wall. It was quite It was irritating when a couple romped around all night, which disturbed our sleep. Upon entering, we found a small room, a tiny kitchenette with a sofa and TV, and again a bedroom divided by a mirrored wall. The sleeping area and the kitchen area with a sofa were simply separated from one room. That was the first shock. We were four adults, so it was difficult for us to move around in such a tiny space. This apartment isn't suitable for four adults, or a maximum of two, or maybe a small child. But not for four people. The bathroom became the biggest problem from the very beginning. The bathroom door wouldn't close (it fell off and became soaked from the water), the shower didn't work, and there was no ventilation. This was the worst, as using the toilet or shower was humiliating. Furthermore, the stench spreading through the apartment from the bathroom and the clogged shower tray were unacceptable. Water was spilling into the hallway and part of the apartment. I reported it immediately, but the lack of response from the office staff was even more stressful.

Having no choice, I reported the problem to Booking.com, and only after their intervention on the third day of my stay did they send a person who only repaired the door and partially the shower. Now the problem is with the living room. The apartment had two beds and a sofa bed. It turned out that the sofa was broken, simply The seat and sleeping area were collapsing. There was also no space to unfold our suitcases. So we had to spread them out on the kitchen floor. To prepare tea, we had to fold and unfold the suitcases. Another problem was the lack of ventilation in the apartment, resulting in enormous, penetrating humidity. Opening the windows was of no use. The clothes hung in the wardrobe were permeated with the stench of damp... this smell stayed with me for a long time.The cloths was filled with the smell of damp,. It was the worst stay of my life, full of stress. Unfortunately, the staff are unprofessional. They only listen to complaints without any reaction. I don't know what they're doing there. When booking, I specified that there would be four adults, but I felt like I was given this apartment as a punishment, just to squeeze the customer in and simply charge them. No matter how. Just to make money. I would like to emphasize that this wasn't my first reservation in Gdansk, but this apartment was the worst so far and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's embarrassing that the owners don't care about the customer... they have high expectations for the customers without giving anything in return and don't respond to their complaints. They don't take into account the customer's comfort, completely disregarding them.

Live with a homeless

I feel like everything I could like about the apartment was overshadowed by the bad experience.

There was a homeless man at the door of our room during our entire stay. The smell was unbearable, he made noise at night and we were scared. If he was sleeping, we had to jump over his legs to get into the room. We contacted Elite Apartments but they responded very late and did not offer us an alternative. The door of the building was broken and anyone who wanted could enter. Logically I cannot recommend it because it is not a safe place.

Nice apartment with perfect locations. Ok standard, not perfect, but good value for money.

Easy to check in, self check-in with keybox outside the building. Good information on mail and telephone. The location was perfect! 2 min walk to the old town. 5-10 min walk to the trainstation. The apartment was big and clean.

Beds not the best. Some problems with adjusting the temp in shower, suddenly very cold or hot. The door into the building was unlocked all the time. A homeless guy sleeping outside our apartment every night. At times a lot of noice from neighbors...
