About this apartment rental
The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center of Lucca, close to all the monuments and in the shopping area. Arranged on two levels 3/4 floor without lift. From the lovely entrance lounge where there is a single sofa bed, you can look out to the two large and bright double bedrooms. On the upper floor, which is accessed by a characteristic oak spiral staircase, there is the dining room with cooking area, the bathroom with window and the large terrace, where you can have lunch and enjoy the benefits of a large open air space. despite being in the city center. All the furniture has been carefully studied to bring back an environment with ancient flavors in an "old Lucca" style with all modern conveniences.

This property and its central location in Lucca suited my wife and I perfectly; we loved the patio (even the vibrant and noisy streets just below); we loved the old world feel and the quality of the decor and furnishings. It is a quirky place with narrow spiral staircase requiring care and agility. The owner clearly loves and cares for the property and rightly expects visitors do the same. Eating out is so easy and so rich: from nearby Italian breakfasts to convivial evening meals.

Lucca is a beautiful city but very loud. We had all the windows shut and could hear people on the streets. Also the city cleaned the streets M-F at 6am. The place is beautiful but the layout is challenging. The bedrooms are downstairs and the bathroom is upstairs. The terrace is a wonderful place to hang out. As for location, it’s great. We ate some delicious restaurants and rented a car to explore more of Tuscany. Walking the streets of Lucca is much easier than Florence.
