First of all, thank you to Jacob for accommodating us really well upon arrival. As soon as we entered the gate of the premises, you may slightly struggle to find the reception/ check in area, however once you walk straight, before the pool it’s to the left ( stairs to the lower ground floor) reception room. Jacob was the host and explained everything well upon check-in. He gave us the in and outs, local bus stops and timings, restaurants, must see towns and things to do. He was very knowledgeable and honest on what’s good or not. The room was clean, simple, open mini kitchenette with available cups/ glasses and cutlery. Shower was clean and functional, you won’t be disappointed. The bed was comfortable and spacious enough for two people. We also had a small balcony overlooking the high street and outdoor pool which was decent. Two chairs and outside dining table to enjoy your drinks, nice place to hang out. Pool was clean and was regularly cleaned every morning by the cleaning staff. I would say the best thing about this place is the location. To the left is a pharmacy, after that a mini supermarket( all your grocery needs, toiletries and drinks/ alcohol- Literally next door). They also offer a safe ATM just outside it. The beach( black sand) is a 6-7 minute walk away.Across the road is literally the public bus stop that takes you through local towns in Santorini ( Megalochori, Pyrgos, Emporio,Fira) be mindful to ask the driver or ticket collector where the public bus is travelling through, they’ll tell you- you shouldn’t be spending more than €2.40 for a single ride ticket. Behind the bus stop 5 minutes away there is a 24 hour bakery, offers lovely pastries, ice cream and savoury snacks. To the right across the street of Tristhenia there is a small convenience store that sells snacks, drinks, however I mainly used that store to buy cigarettes ( €4.30-5,50 cigarettes depending on the brand- CASH ONLY).
To be honest , nothing really stood out for me not to like it.
