Good position.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable, good quality beds. Bathrooms well appointed, powerful shower with plenty of hot water. We had a free upgrade to a suite.
Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food including a cooked breakfast which was included with the room rate.
Parking a bit tricky when we arrived because of afternoon teas at the hotel but plenty of on street parking

Great location. The hotel is one on the only remaining buildings from when bournville was created.
Lack of accessible powder points near bed. Rooms (mainly bathroom) were tired, needs updating Hotel has a bar on site which we had hope to use but was in darkness the 2 nights we stayed and there did not appear to be any staff on site

location but that’s what I chose considering close to chocolate world. breakfast quality was good.
room was too small.
noisy flush and stairs.
clogged shower drain.
irregular hot/cold water.
very limited breakfast options to choose - literally 4 options. staff got upset on asking for extra toast. 4* price for 2* facilities
