Barley Sheaf, Old Bridge Street EN SUITE ROOMS, ROOM ONLY

Lovely pub with lovely rooms. Ours was number 1 and it had 3 windows, two onto the street and one onto the pub garden. The staff were lovely on arrival and help carry our bags upstairs. The location was brilliant for the cathedral where we were attending an event. There is an Indian restaurant literally across the road and a car park two minutes away. The room was incredibly warm when we checked in, which was lovely. Because the weather awful. The room was large, the super King bed was very comfortable and the bathroom nice and modern.

The pub didn’t do food on site. That’s all.

Location and staff ran very well too

No food

Great value for money, location great. Park across the road. Pub room only but lots of places to eat within walking distance.

Grounds do need to be updated, outside sitting area needs a good sort out and building little dated.

The location was perfect, close to the centre of Truro The shower worked well and the bathroom and room were clean The bed was very comfortable and tea/coffee making faciities were fine.

Since i was alone the room felt very big. Since there was a pub below it was very noisy on one of the nights and I couldnt get to sleep. The soundproofing isn't great The room did have a slightly clinical atmosphere.
