Breajfast was exceptional.

What a welcome! Great location and obviously very well patronised by locals. Staff welcome was exceptional- shout out to Lee, Holly, Summer & Lucy. Great team in house-didn’t get chefs name but they deserve a mention too!!
Accommodation was fine - bathroom needs a little extra cleaning - shower needs thoroughly cleaned.

We had a very nice stay. Rooms are quite small but they are perfect for what you need, the rooms are very clean, comfortable beds. The adjoining pub is small and was quite busy, however the staff were friendly and helpful. The food is a little pricey but it is delicious. We would recommend staying here.
It wasn't clear when booking that breakfast times are different at weekends, we had an early start (8am) we booked and paid for breakfast as we were under the impression breakfast was at 7,30, this is not the case at weekends, it's not until 8,30. So we have could not have breakfast even though we had paid for it.

The pub side was lovely with very good food. Staff were friendly and very polite. Breakfast was excellent! Coffee machine in the room was great and there were nice toiletries included (not that I used, they just looked good quality). Good quality linen available including extra pillows if you needed them.
The massive issue was the smell of the drains. It was revolting and there was no escaping it. We had to leave the bathroom fan on all night but as soon as you opened the door, the smell flooded the room. I left my shower scrunchy in the bathroom along with other toiletries, it had to be thrown out when I got home as it had absorbed the stench of the drains. We were room 2 and our friends were in room 3 with the same issue. If it hadn't been for this problem then it would have been a very pleasant stay.
