About this villa rental
Three-bedroomed air-conditioned family villa, superbly equipped, located on the southern edge of Cessenon-sur-Orb in the Languedoc. The villa is set on a hillside in 1 hectare of landscaped gardens with an unoverlooked private swimming pool. It has its own small vineyard. There are stunning views from both the patio area and the pool area. The villa is just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cessenon, where there are restaurants, bars and shops. Cessenon is a lively town with a market 2 days a week. There are many lovely walks in the area including part of a GR route. Cycling routes are well-signed. Canoeing on the River Orb is available nearby. The historic town of Beziers is 30 minutes away by car. Other places of interest are the Canal du Midi, Carcassonne and Narbonne.

Wonderful, very well equiped (especially for cooking) house with spectacular views. Very private and extremely comfortable. The aircon in all the bedrooms worked very well and was much appreciated during the heat of our stay. The driveway up to the house is a little adventurous but no issues (unless you a very low slung car perhaps) and it is certainly worth the minimal effort! Extra mention for the bathrooms which were lovely.Kids loved exploring the grounds and we enjoyed the peace (when the kids allowed!). Communication with the owner Bill was easy and responsive.

We have just returned from the most fabulous week at this wonderful villa with our adult children. Bill couldn’t have been more helpful prior to us arriving answering many emails quickly and with patience.
We found the directions and the road to the Villa much easier than anticipated… we have a hybrid mini which managed the drive with ease..
The villa is outstanding it has absolutely everything you would need for a stay and although we had five adults in the villa we never felt on top of each other… The villa was impeccably clean and the welcome pack was very much appreciated and contained everything we needed for the first night.
We felt it an absolute privilege to be able to experience this accommodation and although we originally had many day trips planned we barely left the villa for the entirety of our stay… thank you so much Bill , we can’t recommend this highly enough

Tout était là pour une semaine parfaite. Splendide vue sur le mont caroux. Maison équipée et fonctionnelle. Une climatisation au top pour sauver les nuits caniculaires. Proche du bourg et de toutes activités. Bref on recommande

Une maison tout en longueur sur les hauteurs à quelques centaines de mètres du village (on y accède par un petit chemin un peu escarpé, mais sans problème avec un Renault Captur), calme, très agréable et très bien équipée (carnet avec des instructions claires, cuisine très complète), un hôte qui répond rapidement à vos questions, une très belle piscine avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée et le soleil jusqu’à tard dans la soirée. L’Orb est un peu plus bas pour la baignade, des activités multiples à proximité (visites de villes et villages de l’Hérault et de l’Aude, canoës, marchés, brocantes…). Nous étions très bien.
