Comfortable room.
Excellent buffet breakfast.
The "happy hour" was most welcome given that there were few nearby bars

The location of the hotel was great, a bus stop just a few minutes walk away that could take you to Kyoto Station or other places. Room was nice and clean. The happy hour was a bonus, got to meet other travelers in the dining area. Lovely atmosphere and very helpful staff. Able to get our luggage forwarded on from there with no problem.

Good facilities, generous with happy hour drinks everyday and staff mostly spoke in english.
Location was good as it was close to kyoto station but not as close to the tourist sites.

Below average location and grumpy staffs.
Grumpy staffs, most of the front desk (mostly non Japanese) are very grumpy and they do not greet like Japanese.
