Met my expectations and offered excellent value. Stayed for one night because I needed to be near a morning work commitment. Staff were friendly. Refrigerator in the room was handy and wifi worked well. Parking was plentiful and easy. Location was easy driving access to Indian restaurants of Artesia. As an alternative to credit card security deposit (which could take several days to get back), you could provide $100 in cash that you can take back upon checkout. Overall, a practical, no frills and friendly stay.
Air conditioning could have been cooler. I checked in on a hot afternoon and even at max cooling setting, I felt the room could've been colder during the day (it was fine by evening when outdoor temps dropped). Shower had good hot water but showerhead sprayed water up and out the shower area, so I had to use a towel to prevent the floor from getting wet. Relatively minor inconveniences that didn't detract significantly from the stay.

The spaciousness and the fact that there's a lot around the area. Other than that, it's a typical hotel room.
It smelled like cigarettes despite being a non-smoking room and area.

It was decent place. It was super close to our destination and we just needed a place to sleep. The room itself was ok and clean.
The front office was a mess, wood was covering up part of the office. The pool unusable. At first sight i almost wanted to leave and not check in.
