Built in 1976, this Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice designed home is nestled in the rolling hills of the Wisconsin River valley on 30 acres of old hardwood forest and restored native prairie. Open floor plan living room, dining room and kitchen with soaring 18 foot ceilings, skylights and vintage wood stove. Sliding glass doors open to a 400 square foot deck suspended in the trees over looking the pond below. Recently remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen with gas range, full size refrigerator, microwave, dish washer and stocked pantry. Outdoor gas grill. 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and full bath. spacious closets, linens and towels.
Half way between Spring Green and Dodgeville. Approximately 12 miles to American Players Theatre, downtown Spring Green and Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin. 50 miles to Madison.

The home was beautiful with unique architecture and a great deck adjacent to a large oak tree making you feel like you were in a tree house. The kitchen was well appointed and the furniture comfortable. The location was excellent; quiet in a countryside forested area and yet no more than a 20 minute drive to all local attractions including Taliesin and The American Players Theatre as well as amazing kayaking on the Wisconsin River.

We came here to get away from Chicago fireworks over the 4th. While it was definitely quieter than the City, we did hear fireworks on the 3rd and 4th in the distance. It’s a cute space, but not exactly what I was expecting. Everything is just a little more weathered and aged than in the photos.The driveway is shared for the a house that sits on the top of the hill that this house is next to - only saw a car drive by a few times - so not exactly heavy traffic.Only 25 mins from Governor Dodge State Park which was great. It was extremely hot while we stayed (104*), but the AC and big ceiling fan did an amazing job.

Absolutely lovely and secluded home in Wisconsin beautiful driftless region! Conveniently located to local attractions (Taliesin, American Players Theater), and it had everything we needed. Had a great stay!

Everything about this place is amazing. This property has been one of my favorites that I've ever rented. It is extremely well designed, secluded, peaceful, and very well done. I can't wait to come back.
