The apartment was located on a quiet, pedestrian only street by a beautiful canal with cute shops and cafes right outside your door. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. We would stay here again.
It had everything we needed. Maybe a couple more towels in the kitchen and salt and pepper. A washer and dryer would be nice.

Feels like old dutch spirit. Comfy and quiet in the quiet center of Schiedam.

I booked for 4 nights and contacted the owner to make a change — one night less — since I was still within the timeframe allowed by Booking. I sent messages into the void, as he never replied. We called by phone, and eventually, the owner told me there was no problem modifying the reservation and shortening it by one night. In the end, he charged me the full amount, as if I had never requested the change or asked how to shorten my stay. Peter washes his hands of it and blames booking.com. A poor gesture on his part.
