The most spacious accommodation we had in our travels through Japan. Right on the river with gorgeous views. Clean and modern and very close to a train station.

Het is een comfortabel huis, groot, licht en met een lekkere douche, grote koelkast, goede bedden en een fijne bank. Ook gezellige koffietentjes in de buurt en een leuke wandeling langs de rivier richting centrum.
Het was niet zo schoon, op veel plekken lagen haren en er was niet zoveel oog voor detail. Op het balkon lag een bak grind met wat verdord onkruid en voor het huis lag een berg met kapotte paraplu’s.

It had a great view and was big enough for my group to feel like we could get our own space when needed.
It felt a little too empty and also had signs of heavy use. Scratches were easy enough to see on the furniture but it was still comfy.

Big house so great for us as a family of 5 to spread out and relax when do many rooms in Japan are very small.
Full kitchen so could cook a meal.
Nice spot by the river.
Washing machine/ dryer worked very well.
Very quiet neighbourhood.
Comfy beds on the floor- Japanese style.
900 metre walk from Kyoto main station.
Quite far away from the “happening” areas of Kyoto.
Not really many restaurants or bars nearby.
Heater in upstairs bedroom not working.
Instructions to everything in Japanese. Would have been helpful to have instructions in English.
