About this house rental
Superb 17th century sheepfold renovated with taste and respect for authenticity (last renovation in 06/2022, paintings, façade). Weekends possible at certain times. The sheepfold has a capacity of 12 to 18 beds (15 in winter) at most but ideal for 15 people (7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a bathroom). Large fully equipped kitchen with a Lacanche stove, Bosch appliances, toaster, coffee maker, Nespresso, microwave... Flat screen TV, bluetooth hifi (Iphone iPod jack), Wifi internet, 9000 m² of terraced land with a breathtaking view of the mountain, nature as far as the eye can see, a haven of tranquility. Private swimming pool, doubly secured by electric roller shutter and access terrace that can be closed by gates, heated (May to the end of October) from 12m by 6m (1m to 2m50), swimming pool, open from May to October. 3 terraces, arbour under the vine, bread oven, barbecue, garden furniture and deckchairs, bowling green. The swimming pool, the terraces and the entire garden are south-facing; sun from morning to evening, absolute calm, not overlooked. The sheepfold is not isolated, the village of Toudon is 1 km away. Nature is preserved.
It is an ideal place for hikers, cyclists and lovers of nature and calm. The house is ideally located to enjoy either the Côte d'Azur (Cannes and Monaco 1 hour away) or the mountains, the lakes of Castillon and Chaudanne, the Esteron river, the hinterland, not to mention the villages of Grasse, St Paul de Vence... From the house you can observe eagles, wild boars, roe deer, foxes going in the evening to "walk" in the plots at a distance from the house.
The location of the sheepfold is "out of time", preserved because of its location on a protected site.

This property is large enough to sleep and entertain LOTS of people! The nearest "shop" is 30 minutes walking away (Toudon's wonderful La Pause Toudonnaise) or 45 minutes drive away (Carrefour Nice Lingostiere), but this means (when you get there) the views are STUNNING! Plenty of fridges to keep your supplies cold, plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of things to do to have fun, or just relax! Highly recommend!
