The staff were lovely as was the room. There was a lovely choice of options for breakfast
We got caught in traffic and arrived at 8.30 on a Saturday evening hoping to be able to eat. Unfortunately everything had just been turned off in the kitchen - and so we had to go into Wellington - and again most places had stopped serving a while earlier so Witherspoon's it was. The bar closed as soon as the diners finished so we couldn't get a drink when we got back. We chose to book an inn so that we could eat and drink (it is quite isolated so no easy options for either) and was expecting a later service for a Saturday night - not the Inn's fault - we should have done our research more thoroughly.

The staff were really great. Quick to check us in, really friendly and helpful. We didnt have any of the food for night before or after but the price looked good for breakfast.
Rooms were really basic, the noise of the train line and road (either side of the hotel) is marked, and the baths in both rooms were a bit grubby. Rooms were really hot at night, and the beds were of average comfort at best.
