BR Hostel is the best! The location is perfect, in the heart of a nice neighbourhood, within walking distance of the historical centre of the city, and many street cafes and upmarket restaurants and shops around. The staff are great, friendly and accommodating, always available, helping where they can with advice and suggestions, and Alan bakes a cake every afternoon. The amenities are excellent, breakfast can be bought there, as well as the necessary items for travellers. There is a balcony, sitting area and TV, and best of all for someone with a heavy suitcase: a lift! The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen - everything is spotless, very clean. I stayed there twice, and would gladly go back if I could. I can recommend it wholeheartedly! Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Great and helpful staff, in a safe and convenient neighbourhood. The hostel has every amenity you’d need aside from a laundry room, which is itself only 10 mins walk away and is very easy to use. The atmosphere is relaxed and it’s easy to meet people to explore the city and beyond. It’s clean, item storage is easy and secure, and the balcony is nice too :))

I stayed 7 nights and didn't have any problems
They moved me around a bit but it wasn't a problem to me. Gabriel helped me a lot with everything l needed and was extremely positive and polite
The wifi can get slow from time to time but nothing out of the extraordinary

The location is great and the staff is friendly
The breakfast was very poor and the beds didn't have curtains, so it was difficult to maintain privacy. I wish the bathroom was maintained better. Mediocre price/value relation
