Our whole visit to Lodeve was full of surprises and the history of this attractive, unusual building is fascinating, and the lovely host is very informative, trying hard to make the facilities fit individual preferences, despite any difficulties. There was a thunderstorm that caused a power cut, but electricity was quickly restored. The service, including meals in the dining room, was commendable and we would not hesitate to go there again.
The shower was a bit difficult to use, especially for anyone with mobility issues.

The staff were very genuine happy and helpful.
Whilst I appreciate the hotel is trying to create a quirky shabby chic atmosphere it somehow fails and just looks very tired and in need of an overhaul.
