El apartamento es amplio y bastante completo de menaje, estaba todo limpio, está bien ubicado y es muy tranquilo, zona suficiente para aparcar en la calle. Súper cómodo hacer el check in y la recogida/ entrega de llaves.
Pues por proponer mejoras diría que la cama hace un poco de ruido y no es muy cómoda, cambiará el sofá que ya está un poco desgastado del uso al sentarse. Y la grifería del baño al no ser de buena calidad está un poco oxidada que no impide su uso pero a la vista quedaría algo en mejor estado.

We really liked the island, very low key and the kind of place we like as we are island people. The location of the apartment was fine and if everything had worked it would have been comfortable. They take dogs which is also a plus as we had ours with us!
The blinds in the apartment were broken and made a terrible noise all night because they would not shut properly or open at all - and it was windy which made them rattle and vibrate all night. Mirror lights in the bathrooms did not work, Hob light did not work over the oven. We had no option but to sleep in the twin room (even though the beds were tiny) because of the blinds in the master bedroom. We had to put chairs and blankets in front of the living room windows so that we were not on view to the street as the blind was stuck in the open position and the room was like a goldfish bowl. We were only told about the fault with one of the blinds in the living room after we had paid security deposit etc., We were not told the master bedroom blind did not work. The whole checking in process was very long and laborious. Payment on one of my cards was refused even though it worked on booking.com which is how I booked and paid, so after trying it several times I had to pay with another card. In all it took about an hour of having to fill out online forms, passport info, inputting personal data, trying card payments repeatedly, etc., all of this using valuable mobile data. It does clearly say on the listing that wifi is not available (admittedly we had missed this when booking) but was a big down side for us as we do not have lots of data for Europe included in our mobile contracts. We also had to pay an additional security deposit, maybe this is because we had dogs with us, but not usual on booking.com. We contacted the company afterwards to ask for a small refund as compensation for what we felt was a pretty sub-standard stay, but they said that as we had enjoyed some of our stay (the island and the location!!!!) they did not feel a refund was appropriate. We stayed in October 2026, we did like the island and would recommend people to go there but not to stay at Apartments Ilha de Arouse 3000 or if you do check that everything works before booking!
