La posizione della struttura è davvero ottima, immersa in un contesto tranquillo e in un paesino molto piacevole, dotato di tutti i servizi essenziali (bar, ristoranti, panetteria, supermercato). La presenza della stazione ferroviaria è un vero valore aggiunto: il trenino locale consente di spostarsi comodamente ogni mezz’ora tra Calvi e l’Isola Rossa. Tuttavia, è un vero peccato constatare la scarsa cura nei dettagli della struttura. L’esterno si presenta trascurato, circondato da sterpaglie e bisognoso di un intervento urgente di sistemazione: un’occasione sprecata, considerando il grande potenziale del luogo. Anche se l’interno è stato in parte rinnovato e risulta accogliente, ci sono comunque aspetti da migliorare. In particolare, la qualità dei letti lascia a desiderare: il divano letto, ad esempio, è piuttosto fatiscente e scomodo. Va detto che la persona che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e disponibile, e questo ha sicuramente contribuito a rendere l’esperienza più piacevole. Eravamo in sei amici e, nonostante le criticità, ci siamo adattati e ci siamo comunque divertiti. Con un po’ più di attenzione alla manutenzione e ai dettagli, questa struttura potrebbe davvero diventare un piccolo gioiello.
