Island House Hotel

It is a gorgeous property outside of the bustle of the shops and restaurants but still a quick walk away from everything you might want. There is a bike rental shop on the front lawn which is super convenient. The historic hotel is updated beautifully and the rooms are comfortable yet retain feels of originality. Our room had a little turret attached which was super fun! Tea at the Grill House was super fun too We only wished that the on site pizza and bbq restaurant was opened past Labor Day. It was a magnificent home base for our weekend on the island!

Nothing!

Great location. Nice guest rooms.

A little noisy.

Great hotel and location on the island! Friendly staff and excellent bar and restaurant on site.

Nothing!

Our room was clean, beautifully decorated, bathroom nice and modern

We really wanted to stay at your hotel. Could not justify staying in one of the premium rooms so opted for a standard queen. I wasn’t expecting anything over the top, but the room was very small. The bathroom, you had to slide to the right around the toilet to get the door closed. I also realize the building is old, but after getting off the elevator, we had to walk a bit then down a set of stairs then up a set. Not ideal carrying luggage down or getting to your room after walking all day.
