Never again.

The neighborhood was as expected (not the first trip to Berlin). Beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean.

We reserved and paid for a room for 3 persons (couple and our adult daughter). There were 6 numbered hotel room doors visible from the corridor. But we were accomodated in an apartment behind a not numbered but labelled as "private" door, with all the pictured staff left continuously in front of it. This apartment is surely not for commercial purpose, smell of earlier cigarette smoking throughout. We were not offered to choose between this apartment and a normal hotel room. Kitchen with important things missing, rest was dirty. Wall sockets were not available for every bed, neither the necessary bedside lamps. Light bulbs were missing (cost-saving?) in almost every room. At the far end of the corridor inside the "private" apartment was another, closed door and we did not know where it would lead and when someone would appear. Thermostat of the heating system was completely hidden behind a wardrobe: we had to discover its place and pull the wardrobe to adjust the heating system (it was cold within the apartment). Both bedrooms and the bathroom had their floor not in level with the corridor, we had to be careful because of this. We've made photo documents, that are shared here. (Smell could not be documented though.) So in summary we do not know the reason (might be overbooking because of the Berlin Half Marathon?) but we did not get what we ordered and paid for. Our other daughter (a participant of the mentioned Half Marathon) was lucky enough to choose another place to stay. We love Berlin and been there quite a few times, planning to return there in the future, but never again to LV Rooms.

Price is good if not too picky about ambience

The location, size of room and comfort of bed were good

When entering the venue, particularly in the kitchen area, it smelled strongly of old oil and fish. This smell did not lessen the entire 5 days I stayed.

Ok for one night

Nicely located. Easy to check in.

Very basic plus when I entered tnę room from minus temperature outdoor the window was opened and it took heating several hours to warm the room up, impossible to sit there
