I know this pub well, and the young man that runs it is lovely and always kind & helpful. Good food, lovely pub and great location.

Great location. Our room with its large bay window over the Main Street was very pleasant.
Good dining in the bar.
The electric shower was exceedingly erratic, so much so that I gave up trying to use it. The wash hand basin warm water never rose above tepid and took 2 minutes to reach its maximum low temperature.
The wall mirror over the wash hand basin is set so low I had to shave kneeling on the floor. I used hot water from the kettle to shave. Heat output from the small radiator is barely perceptible.

The location is good, in the centre, tho at the bottom of the hill if you are walking up the Main Street. Also above a pub but it was quiet when I stayed.
The shower was not working in my unit. I had to leave right away so I emailed the hotel a couple times notifying them of the problem with a video and received no reply. I also messaged them through Booking.com and have had no response. Needless to say it was bad enough not having a shower in the morning, but the lack of customer service is even worse.
