Really good breakfast is served on the table with tablecloth. Fresh fruit, iddli etc. eggs of your choice. This is nice and warm home stay where one feels safe and cozy. Water pressure excellent. Nice couple Francis and Rosy.
Some rickshaw drivers could not find the place easily, there is no sign on the residential street. Which is also nice not to have huge signs and advertisements everywhere. But small discreet sign would be good.

What a wonderful stay in Fort Kochi at the Francis Residence! Mr and Mrs Francis were super hosts. From our arrival in the middle of the night (greeted by both with refreshments and smiles 🙏🏽) to our departure on a Sunday morning, after a delicious breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this special Homestay.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are clean and functional- hot showers included! Air conditioning worked a dream. 😊 We stayed in an upstairs double room overlooking the front of the property - this to avoid the earlier onset of mosquitos - one night downstairs was enough. Mr Francis moved us upstairs to ensure our comfort.
Breakfast was provided at a time convenient to us. Even as late as lunchtime on the day we’d taken an early cycle tour (630 till 1030 with Gully Tours, well worth the early start, amazed at how active the city is before the heat of the day kicks in!).
