About this apartment rental
Come and enjoy real beachfront living! Located at the Sonoran Sky Resort, Unit 506, right on Sandy Beach in the beautiful fishing village of Puerto Penasco, Mexico. We are located just a short 4 hour drive from Phoenix, AZ. My condo is beautifully furnished with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The kitchen is well appointed should you decide to cook at home. There are two living areas, one on the terrace and one in the living room. There is a pub table for 2, and additional seating at the kitchen island. There is also a table for four on the patio for dining outside and a perfect place to play games! There is a Keurig as well as a regular coffee maker. Don't forget the coffee pods if you like a Keurig. I have not found them down here yet! The condo works wonderfully for entertaining. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, and there is a hide-a-bed in the living room with an upgraded memory foam mattress. The resort amenities are top drawer, featuring 3 pools, swim-up bar, 3 hot tubs, and even a waterslide for the kids. You can belly-up at the beach-front Tiki Bar, or enjoy a sports bar with wall to wall televisions to watch multiple sporting events at the same time. There is also a fine-dining restaurant right on the beach. Stay in shape in the fully appointed gym, or enjoy the full-service spa! Most importantly, there are miles and miles of beautiful white sandy beaches to walk everyday! It truly is my happiest place on earth, and I am willing to share it with you and your family when I am not enjoying it myself. The condo was wonderful- clean and well appointed- there was even an air fryer in the kitchen! Plenty of dishes and utensils and a brand new dishwasher. Wonderful location on the 5th floor in the middle of the complex with great views of the pool and beach. Note- in the shower, the hot setting is opposite of where it usually is, so make sure you turn it to the right otherwise you will have lukewarm showers! The amenities at the complex are great! My husband and son took advantage of the gym each day, we had 2 pools, one with a swim up bar and there was a kids pool with slide as well as another toddler pool and 3 hot tubs. The pools and beach were never crowded which we loved. You can order lunch from the Tiki bar and we also had wings from La Cantina - the sports bar- very reasonably priced. We ate breakfast at Cielito Lindo onsite, but they are pricier- it was a hug breakfast though. The other great thing is that you don’t really get accosted at your palapa by the folks selling items because they have it roped off, they will still ask but usually set up outside the perimeter. Security is onsite at all times and bonus for parking - they have underground parking!! It was easy to get into town and up the road to restaurants on the days we did t cook at home. The unit also has a washer and dryer and there are beach chairs, coolers and other beach items for you to borrow.
