Great location, good service, friendly staff and excellent food
Staying in the main building above the bar and restaurant can be a bit noisy.

This is the 2nd time we have been and we plan to come again. The location is brilliant with Baslow itself having plenty of pubs and restuarants and very close proximity to many interesting historical places and also superb outdoor activities.
The staff are lovely, very personable and professional. The food is excellent.
My only small criticism would be that the potato rosti at breakfast was greasy but I feel I am being really picky by mentioning it but you ask the question.

How it was presented with tasteful furnishings . The staff were so welcoming and very attentive throughout our stay. The evening meal was excellent, so flavourful with lots of attention paid to detail. All set off by beautiful gardens.
