Party Central! Not a family holiday villa! Disgusted!

Absolutely nothing! All advert pictures must be at least 10 years old!

£8,000 for a Month – Shocking Villa in an Awful Party Environment We paid approximately £8,000 for one month in this villa, and the standard of both the property and the surrounding area was absolutely shocking. The photographs speak for themselves. Peeling and blown plaster, cracked walls and ceilings, damaged finishes, poorly maintained fittings, marked floors and generally tired, neglected interiors. This isn’t simply a villa that’s a little dated. It needs substantial maintenance. The shower fitting was barely secured to the wall. An electrical fitting had its faceplate missing. Kitchen cupboards were broken. The kitchen was inadequately equipped for six people — we didn’t even have proper cereal bowls. The furniture was cheap and basic throughout. Outside, we were greeted by cheap plastic garden furniture, an old folding lounger and a barbecue in an appalling state. There were no proper pool loungers or umbrellas provided with the villa. We even had a seagull nesting on the balcony. The main living-room television was approximately 20 inches. For accommodation intended for six people and costing around £8,000 for four weeks, it was ridiculous. More seriously, we repeatedly experienced a horrible sewer/drain smell coming from the sinks, bath and shower. Despite staying for an ENTIRE MONTH, the owners provided ZERO cleans. Not one clean in four weeks. At £8,000, I find that extraordinary. Cleaning equipment was conveniently left at the property, so presumably guests paying thousands of pounds are expected to clean it themselves. The air-conditioning wasn’t working correctly either, with the heat-exchanger arrangement resulting in hot air being exhausted into bathroom areas — exactly what you want during an Algarve summer. The development’s security gate also didn’t work and was left wide open throughout our stay, making the idea of this being a secure gated development rather meaningless.

upon arrival the villa was not overly clean I mopped and swept the Floors as they were sticky The bathrooms had a very bad smell of sewage so I had to bleach and leave scents around each one

The unit has potential

I liked the location of the property and how spacious it was. It was close to the beach that I liked.

The A/C unit in the living room was broken, making the living room area impossible to sleep in. Lots of things were broken or worn in the unit. No condiments, washing/laundry machine tablets provided.

Not recommended as a family

The location was great! There was a great beach nearby. And many restaurants.

A horror accommodation, especially with children! Many things were broken. The toaster did not work properly. The air conditioning in the living room did not work. In the lower area of the apartment it was very hot as a result. We were two adults and three children. We could not sleep in the living room due to the broken air conditioning. The three of us squeezed into the double bed. The dresser in the small bedroom was completely broken and fell towards me and then on my feet. In the kitchen we got electric shocks EVERYWHERE as soon as we came into contact with iron. On the stove, on the oven, on the dishwasher. Everywhere! In addition, a compartment of the refrigerator was broken, so we could not use it. My two daughters injured themselves in the pool on the many broken tiles on their feet. In general, the equipment and especially the condition of the furniture was catastrophic!!!
