Welcome to Mas de Lauche, a peaceful escape in the heart of the Ardèche!
Nestled in lush greenery, just below the charming hamlet of La Davalade, Mas de Lauche is a beautiful 16th-century country house, lovingly restored while preserving its original character. Ancient stone walls, magnificent vaulted ceilings, spacious interiors and breathtaking views of the Ardèche mountains: everything you need for an unforgettable holiday with family or friends!
Here, life slows down. Think refreshing swims, countryside walks, long meals together and evenings under the stars.
/// A spacious house full of character
On the ground floor, a stunning stone-vaulted living room, with its historic pointed arches and cross-vaulted ceilings, invites you to relax. The large, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, electric hob, fridge, freezer…) and generous dining table are perfect for sharing delicious meals. A grand staircase leads to the upper floors.

- A master suite with a 160 × 190 cm double bed and private shower room.
- A study with a single bed and access to a beautiful wooden balcony offering breathtaking mountain views.
- Two bedrooms: one with a 160 × 200 cm double bed, the other with two 90 × 190 cm single beds.
- A bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet.
/// Second floor
- Two connecting bedrooms, each also accessible independently, both with 140 × 190 cm double beds. One includes a baby cot.
- A large dormitory-style bedroom with five single beds.
- A shower room with a shower and washbasin.
Bed linen is provided, but please remember to bring your own towels. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Outside, enjoy a beautiful 11 × 5 m swimming pool, fitted with a safety alarm and surrounded by a wooden deck. Open from June to the end of September, the pool can be heated at no extra cost depending on weather conditions.
The enclosed garden, large outdoor dining table beneath a leafy pergola, plancha grill and pizza oven set the scene for wonderful summer days and long, relaxed evenings together.
Although the Mas occupies one half of a historic country house divided into two independent homes after the French Revolution, no neighbours are visible from the property. A true sense of freedom, privacy and tranquillity!

Really great location in an old charming house with a lot of space. Gets really hot in there in summertime (no aur condition), but there was a really wonderful pool with cool water. A lot of kitchen stuff was there, perfect for cooking with friends. More toilets would be better, if you are a big group. Nevertheless a nice stay.

Très belle demeure du XVI siècle, très bien située avec une très belle vue. Malheureusement la forme ne correspond pas : aucun verre, aucune coupe de champagne identiques, 2 coquetiers pour une grande famille !
Enfin des gravas et autres vieux meubles abandonnés se trouvent à l'entrée du très joli porche de la propriété, buanderie et cuisine d'été plus qu'encombrées et sales, la terrasse de la piscine est dangereuse pour les enfants en bas âge (lames cassées).
Quel dommage que cette très belle maison de caractère ne soit plus entretenue !
