Absolutely fantastic location - steps to Taksim Square/transit/Istikal but just tucked away enough to be quiet. Also, quite secure.
Very responsive, helpful communication from front desk. Airport shuttle comparable price to taxi, but on time, private, and stress-free.
Good storage - lots of places to put things. We were here several days and didn't have to live out of suitcases.
A real steal at this price!
The beds were hard as rocks. Sound-proofing between rooms was not great (though the gals across from us were astonishingly loud at all hours). Thinhs were a little sticky - like maybe the wrong surface cleaner had been used.
When we checked in, we were told "the power never goes out, but if it does..." This should have been a hint. It went out 5 times while we were there, which caused issues with the electronic front door lock. We had to go down in pjs one night to let in the electrician because reception closes over night. It was a breaker tripping, so easily remedied, but I got the feeling it wasn't the first time.
