Beautiful Lake House situated on breathtaking shores of Lake Ontario on the most Northern tip of New York State in Kendall NY. The newly renovated Lake House sleeps 8, with 2 NEW California King & 2 NEW Queen beds, and a bathroom & a half. Awesome additional outdoor shower. The stunning property is on an acre and a half & has 150 feet of private waterfront. 15 minutes from the picturesque town of Brockport, 30 minutes from Rochester, 60 minutes away from Niagara Falls and 75 minutes from Beautiful Letchworth National Park. You can launch your boat at Bald Eagle Marina a 5 minute drive or take a 5 minute drive to the sandy beaches Hamlin Beach State Park. Like to fish ? Salmon Charters are available minutes away at Eagle Creek & Point Breeze marinas. Take a short drive to Rochester and visit the Strong National Museum of Play, Seneca Park Zoo, George Eastman Museum or enjoy Shopping at Greece Ridge Mall or Eastview Mall in Pittsford. For guests planning to stay longer take a day trip to Toronto Ontario Canada, (2 & 1/2 hour drive) North Americas forth largest city. Welcome to The Lake House.

This property was wonderful. Anne and Mark were very helpful and responsive. The house was comfortable and beautifully appointed. The beds were great, the kitchen had everything you need (we like to cook in rather than do restaurants). The lake view and fire pit were fun and relaxing to enjoy. The back deck with outdoor dining table was charming. And the large yard for games and for our dog to run was lots of fun. The only drawback was that water access was a bit tricky. We managed just fine. But if you have any mobility issues, getting down to the water to swim requires care. Overall we enjoyed a lovely, relaxing week.

They definitely set the bar high here with this place! The amenities, the views, the comfort, anything we needed we had! Family came over for dinner and everyone let us know what a great place we’d found to stay at! Nothing but compliments from the communication to the comfort of home!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lakehouse. The area is perfect for escaping the city, being a fairly rural area. The property itself sits right on Lake Ontario, with spectacular views, especially the sunsets. On windy days it feels like you’re in New England on the ocean as the waves get huge. Really spectacular! On the calm days, the lake is great for kayaking, swimming, and floating about. Do keep in mind that this part of the Lake Ontario shore is rocky, so getting into the water requires climbing down some rock steps and would not work if you have mobility issues. We had no problem. The Lakehouse itself is cozy, clean, and well-stocked. Everything we needed during our stay was available and then some. The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. Mark even stopped by to check on us. Some special things worth mentioning are that the hosts had firewood on hand for us for both the outside fire pit and the inside wood burning stove, all the little essentials for meal preparation were available, such as spices, flour, etc., and there are plenty of board games to play. The kids loved that. There was lots of seating outside, and the grounds were very well-maintained. And I have to mention the views again! Breathtaking. And they can be enjoyed not only when you’re outside, but from inside as well. We really had a lovely time.
