The private beach behind is the highlight of this hotel. The rooms are well renovated and spacious. Location is quite good as well, you can walk to different restaurants (15 to 30 minutes).
The restaurant is not good: even the fish was not fresh but frozen and over cooked. The breakfast is ok but miss fresh fruit. You have to pay for the kayaks, but anyway they were even "under maintenance until further notice" so we could not use them. The water of the swimming pool looks dirty.

The little beach gives direct access for swimming and snorkelling, with a lovely view over lagoon and nature.

Staff were very helpful. Room clean (smelling clean as well) and cool (AC was running when we first entered). Nice private beach in front of the hotel restaurant.
Toilet not properly separated from the bed/living room area (plastic door poorly installed and not closing in a sound/smell proof manner).

* Great ocean room view
* Very reasonable laundry charges
* Rooms had no storage cupboards to suit an 8 night stay
* Home reef had crocodile warning signs - really? Was this to promote the offshore day tours
* US$22 per person airport transfer one way was excessive - would expect complimentary.
* No breakfast egg station for 3 days - was this due to the large holiday group or an island shortage - eggs remarkably reappeared once group departed
* Hotel should not allow guests to use dining room wearing inappropriate clothing ie g-string bikinis and revealing tops/swimwear
* We had to request toilet to be unblocked on two occasions
