Disappointing stay that could have been excellent with proper attention and management.

The location is beautiful with panoramic views of the sea and the lagoon and being on the edge is relatively quiet compared to other areas of Cartagena. Supermarkets are all a close walk by and there are a lot of restaurants around the area if you don't want to venture further into the Historic centre every day.

We were plagued by unfortunate things that could have been avoided. Firstly the fridge freezer didn't work and it took the host 4 days to get it fixed, which was unacceptable in such a hot place when you want cold drinks. Also we had already purchased fresh food from the supermarket before we arrived that we had to throw away as it all went off. The fridge freezer should have been checked before a guest arrives and if discovered that it doesn't work, should have been fixed instantly. Secondly we had to ask for more toilet rolls as we were given 1 for 2 people for a 7 night stay, which took a few days to arrive after repeatedly asking for them. Thirdly, the AC is great to have but isn't working as well as it should do, so the filter or something clearly needed cleaning out, again, something that should be done before a guest arrives. There was also a portable fan that other guests had pulled around too much so that the plastic base was starting to give way, so it tilted down at a strange angle and eventually cracked due to the vibration of the motor one night and landed on us while were sleeping (there is no AC in the bedroom where you need it, just a useless ceiling fan that does nothing). Other reviews seem to have had a completely different experience than us so I assume we were just the unlucky ones and all these issues will be fixed for someone else. Payment was a complication too, either pay in cash on arrival or pay through a website link where they add extra percentage on so that you end up paying far more then the published price on here. Overall quite an unexpected and poor experience which ruined our 7 nights in Cartagena. We weren't offered any partial refund for the inconvenience just a promise of a few free nights if we booked with them again, which after this experience was never going to happen.

Recomendado

La ubicación muy buena. Sector tranquilo pero cerca a la Av. San Martin. El apartamento cómodo y la vista excelente y la piscina muy limpia y adecuada para nadar.

Podría ser excelente si en la habitación también hubiera aire acondicionado. Con el ventilador en la habitación más el aire de la sala es funcional.
