The bed was really comfortable for me with my big belly. The room is in an old house and very close to Sao Bento station which was our main aim but also you can walk to the riverfront in less than 10 minutes. You need to save check-in instructions as there are 3 different doors with 3 different access codes to open them. There is a small lift, just about enough for 2 people with backpacks. The view from our room was on R. de Mouzinho da Silveira and the huge arched Mouzinho fountain. Although a busy street, we slept well at night. Breakfast is not provided but we could buy sandwhiches and toast etc. in a café across Sao Bento railway station.

It was a very convenient location and a well-appointed apartment.

Only location, as it is quite convenient.
The room is in the attic and can only be accessed by stairs. Carrying heavy luggage upstairs was difficult for us, especially as we have knee and back problems.
The room has no window. The cabinets were cluttered with cleaning supplies.
The hair dryer nozzle was damaged and could not be attached properly for use. The air conditioner was coated in dust and did not cool the room adequately, making our stay uncomfortable during the hot weather.
Had I known that the room was in the attic and accessible only by stairs, I would have paid more for the apartment with a balcony.
