It is a nice little apartment which is good for a short stay. Having a balcony, made the apartment feel bigger and therefore much more user friendly. Having a sea view added to the enjoyment. Everything we needed was available. The owner was out of the country when we visited but his mother who stood in for him, is sweet and very friendly lady who tried her best to be helpful. Unfortunately communication was an issue due to the fact that she does not speak English but she tried her best and Google translate made things a little easier, in the end it was not a problem at all
Signage to the apartment. O my word! what a struggle we had. A suggestion could be to send guests on WhatsApp of a hand drawn picture map indicating how, and which way to walk to find the front gate. It would be a great help.
Also from the listing it was not made clear that available public parking is really far from the apartment. You have to walk up a slope and climb many stairs to get there. We are quite fit and able, but we opted to leave our suitcases in the car and only took what we needed for our two night stay in a backpack, as we could not see ourselves lugging two big suitcases up all those stairs and over cobbled stone pathways as there is no other access to the apartment.

Beautiful family hosts who took the trouble to meet our Taxi and carry our luggage. Delicious home-made breakfast and the views from room were spectacular. Very clean comfortable large apartment. Restaurants very close have amazing homemade food.
Not a criticism, but my sister had some limitations on accessibility, it was very challenging as it was on top of old town with many steps and slopes, plus 2 floors of stairs to apartment. If you are reasonably fit and not a lot of luggage I recommend staying here. It’s really beautiful. I will definitely come back.

A wonderful find in Ulcinj Old Town. Sitting on the balcony having breakfast and looking out across the sea was really special. The whole place was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, with a lovely family-run feel. They even arranged my laundry, which was hugely appreciated after travelling for a while. A perfect base for exploring Ulcinj and the surrounding area.
