The breakfast and staff and view were excellent. I couldn't have asked for more.
The rooms are in need of TLC and maintenance, especially the bathrooms. The wifi did not work on my first day there and intermittently on the second. The first night I stayed in a downstairs room with little view and it was very dark.
The second night was a beautiful view next to the restaurant bar and not too noisy considering but the toilet/bathroom area needed upgrading regarding toilet seats and sealant around the sink, which in my opinion let down the feeling of boutique considerably. I think details like that make or break the feeling of luxury.

I returned after two years and recognised the same faces. It’s a lovely personal place where you feel looked after. The views are stunning and the restaurant is really nice. I much prefer this to big hotels.
I always wish I had booked to stay longer. You could sit and relax with a book and watch Table Mountain across the bay.
