Welcoming staff and owners, close to Samaria gorge trail parking, good value for money
Rooms may be a little bit noisy, though that wasn't a problem to sleep, so not a big deal. Maybe bring earplugs during high season.

A convenient place to stay close to Heraklion but outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The owners accommodated our late arrival and were kind!

The location
Cold and damp rooms. We were supplied with a noisy air heater which we were unable to leave on overnight. Food was poor with cold previous night’s chips in the breakfast “potato omelet“. Home made yogurt was excellent and Evgenia made us feel welcome, but the building leaves much to be desired. No facilities for making a hot drink. Good Wi-Fi throughout.
