Fremantle Bed and Breakfast is a lovely little place. The staff are excellent and very accomodating. The breakfast each morning was simple but great. It was very relaxed, clean and conveniently located for walking to Fremantle Markets, Fremantle Prison and main street with restaurants and pubs. It's also only a 5min walk from the train straight in to Perth central. I'd definitely stay again.
Breakfast could do with a boiled egg option, but that's just me.. Plenty of other options around for a full breakfast.

Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Quiet but central location. Five minutes from ferry terminal. Wide range of meal options close by. Top floor room had private facilities and stunning stained glass! Could not hear other residents; thought we were the only guests until we went down for breakfast! Highly recommended.
Consider replacing signage and appearance of front door to better reflect the charm of the heritage interior. Note steep steps to carry luggage up to front door and no hand rail.

With no lift it meant taking bags up stairs, so pack lightly.

Location is central and style of the hotel is done well.
For the cost the room it was small, with a squeeky double bed, and an old mattress. Having to share bathrooms was the most frustrating. The room lighting was dull you could barely do makeup or you had to use the bathroom. There were no biscuits to have with tea & coffee.
