The hostel is great, the beds are comfy, the location is good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, but there are no eggs sadly.. I gave it a 7/10 because it needs some upgrades for it to be a 10/10.
Our room, room D, did not have a window that could be opened and the room has some mold issues, we woke up warm and with bad air in the room. It could be an easy fix with a window that can be opened + a dehumidifier.
Also, had we both had to shower with ice cold water at 18.00 in the evening in a pretty cold climate.. in comments they say they have warm water but that the heater goes empty.. I have never had such an issue in any other hostel in Peru this last month, even hostels with double the rooms always had warm water. So maybe it’s time to buy an extra heater? It’s really shit to shower and wash your hair in cold water after a long and tiring day..

The location is excellent, just a 15 min walk from the main square. The staff couldn’t be nicer, they were awesome.
The bathrooms need a serious deep clean.

The staff is very friendly and there is hot water and tea to the guests.
There was no hot water in the showers at all - and it was freezing in Cusco. The room was little dusty and I found a spider and a little cockroach in the room. The location is in the end of a long and high street, so it is kind of difficult to arrive there.
Because of the lack of hot water, I cancelled the booking and went to another hotel.
