Mohammed met us at the public parking and walked us to the riad, which was very kind and appreciated (we arrived in darkness at 10.30 p.m). The interior and decoration was soo tasteful and beautiful and it was very peaceful and quiet! Mohammed gave us a map where the riad was clearly marked and was kind and pointed out main attractions and good eating spots. Breakfast at the roof top was good. Mohammed had picked up it was our son´s birthday and generously congratulated with song and cake (a big thank you also to the kind kitchen ladies). We had a lovely stay and are very grateful we found this place.
It was a bit dissapointing that it was not communicated beforehand that the pool was closed for maintenance. They did offer a pool at a nearby riad, but it felt a bit complicated for only a quick dip. The room we had on the ground floor was a bit damp, but nothing to worry about if you do not spend the day there, which we did not. If you are sensitive, make sure you get a room higher up. The room we had upstairs was perfect.

Mohamed!! simple as that. he was the perfect host, kind attentive and doing more than he had to to make sure we had a great stay!
the hotel itself is really lovely and the roof top spectacular, the perfect place to start the day with a great and nutritious breakfast!

Great location. Just a few minutes from the square and Medina. Mohamed was a true gentleman, helping us all the way and even refused to accept any tips. Riad Orange is lucky to have him—-so kind and professional.
Great communication from Astrid before and during our stay.
We arrived after a long drive from our desert tour and couldn’t get hot water for a shower. Then, to make things worst, we were awaken by little monsters running up and down the stairs yelling and screaming at 7:30am. Asked the parents to control their kids but to no avail. Not really the riad’s fault but keep in mind that this Riad is kid friendly, which is great if you have kids but not for us. Most riads are like Bed & Breakfast places so they are small with shared courtyards and voices carry. These kids were monopolizing all the common areas and using the stairs as a playground—- it was impossible to relax or sleep in. Parents were clueless. Astrid was kind enough to refund us after the first night so we can look for another Riad.
