Castellor Bed & Breakfast

The owner Claire is a real star! Exactly the right blend of being the perfect hostess and giving guests freedom of movement. Wonderful breakfast, incredibly clean, lots of attention to detail, and the view of the bay is breathtaking. Really sorry to have to leave for home but shall return ASAP!

Hard to find in the dark but very easy once you know where it is!

Location and standard of room

Claire was so friendly and helpful, the accommodation was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We gave the pubs in town a wide berth and ate at The Bay View Restaurant and Bar, which Claire recommended and is a short walk from the B&B.

There’s nothing not to like.

From initial message received after booking, Claire was very friendly. Her welcome on arrival was warm & inviting into her beautifully decorated guest house. The location is wonderful & we booked the Seashore room with balcony overlooking the bay. The room has a king size bed and a settee looking out to the bay. 2 built in cupboards for storage & tea/coffee facilities with Bosch coffee machine. There is a guest living room downstairs where you can bring food in & use the dining table, plates & cutlery etc. The Seashore room gets the best allocated breakfast table at a large picture window overlooking the bay. The chip shop in the village is excellent with large portions. Nearby Gadlys hotel / Bay View restaurant is very good. Lovely coastal walk to Llanbadrig church. Castellor is a wonderful place to be highly recommended.

Nothing could have been better at Castellor B&B, but don’t bother going to the local pub which boasts a ‘beer garden’
