Very friendly staff, good food in restaurant

Bar shut very early, rooms too small to sit in so nowhere to go after 9pm. No breakfast although a box was available to room.

We had a lovely stay at The Inn for All Seasons. The room was really clean and nicely decorated, and having a TV was a nice bonus. The bathroom was comfortable, and the bath was lovely! All the staff were so attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was really nice too. Belinda (I think that was her name) was especially lovely, so thoughtful and helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She really made us feel welcome. There’s also a fish and chip shop right next door, which is a great option, although we didn’t get chance to try it. Overall, a really lovely place to stay with great staff and a welcoming atmosphere. We’d happily stay again!

The only real downside for me was the bed. I actually prefer a firm mattress, but this one seemed to dip in places and felt a little worn, although this may just have been specific to my room. The bedside light also had a slight flicker at times, which was a bit distracting, although it didn’t happen all the time. The room was also quite cold until late afternoon, when the radiators came on. Once the heating was on, the room was lovely and toasty, so it was much more comfortable after that. These were only minor niggles overall, and they wouldn’t take away from the positives of our stay, but a few little improvements would make the experience even better.

The price to stay the night and comfy bed. Also the location is where you could go places not too far away, and the parking is free in their carpark which is a bonus, and it's easy to find

Guests being noisy,slamming doors at night. Walking around talking and generally being noisy in the evening. The manager leaves around 9pm so you need to remember the code for the front door. There is an emergency number there if you happen to need it! If you are a light sleeper fetch ear plugs or an eye mask, the factories at the back of the hotel have very bright security lights on all night that shine in the bedrooms :( I would consider getting rid of that old runner downstairs it’s a trip hazard, numerous times we saw it ruffled.
