The hotel has a wonderful, quiet location and charming artistic details. The highlight of my stay was the lovely lady who welcomed me at reception, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming.
Although clean, the hotel felt quite dated, with older furnishings and limited sound insulation. Breakfast was quite limited, and the crowded dining area made it difficult to enjoy a relaxed breakfast. I also felt that the experience did not fully meet my expectations of a five-star hotel.

Perfect distance from harbor to be quiet yet walkable everywhere. Room was very comfortable and clean, beautiful old hotel, staff was lovely and breakfast amazing.
Loved everything.

Beautiful and tastefully appointed hotel. Nice artwork and antiques. Location is very nice just a short walk from the ferry slip. Quiet area. Breakfast was good.
We had neighbors in the floor above arrive late and the noise of the plumbing from their late showers woke us. This is probably typical given the time period in which the hotel was constructed. That wouldn't stop me from returning though. When I return I will ask for a room on the top floor. We really loved the hotel and the staff is excellent.
