The owner accepted only cash, for the studio as well as for the car rent. No warning about this in advance, it was uncomfortable!

We were happy to finally check out and get out of there. Do NOT recommend.

Location and inner garden. That's it.

1. Wi-fi (of a quite poor quality) was available only in the garden. 2. Door to the garden scratched the stone floor with an awful loud noise each time you opened it. For the door not to roar you have to make a large physical effort to lift it up and open it simultaneously 3. We rented this apartment for 5 nights for 5 people. AND for 5 of us we got 3 towels - 1 large and 2 small. We asked for more and we were given 2 more large towels (+towels weren't changed even once). 4. For 5 of us we got 1 roll of toilet paper. So each time it was running out we had to go and ask for more (and each we were given one/two more). 5. For a period of 5 days - not a single cleaning or taking out the trash. 6. Red biting ants in the garden and from time to time even inside the room, and even on the bed! 7. Tiny and super-uncomfortable bathroom (+no shower curtain and no hot water). 8. Property stated it's soundproofing - it is NOT at all! 9. Property states "delivery to Heraklion airport/city is possible" - when we needed it we were told to "take a taxi at the airport". 10. Front window (the one looking on to the street) had a broken latch and could be easily opened from outside (we found this out on the 3rd day of our stay, luckily). Front-door lock was also working very badly and was partially broken. 11. Sofa-bed was super uncomfortable, consisting of three tangible parts. 12. A/C in one room only. 13. There were a lot of mosquitoes. The apartment had a fumigator but no tablets (mosquito mats) for it. 14. Photos of the apartments are misleading. And do you know what "welcoming host" means? I think you do. Well, this is not the case. Complete indifference. Plus, the day we checked out at 12:15PM we were asked to turn off the A/C.

Not bad but could be better.

At first the owner was very helpful, we could check in at early morning! (08 am.) The apartment (number 5) was spacious with 4 beds. Its location was good only 2 minutes from the beach. The beds were very comfy.

The bathroom was really small! The shower was a joke: tiny and without any curtain or walls. Within two weeks they took away our garbage only once and I had to ask clean towels. There were no tools to clean.

You get what you pay for...

Location, the beach is close and nice, price Communication with the host

Small, old, uncomfortable beds, no hot water in the kitchen. Towels and sheets a bit smelly.

Great location, close to the beach and everything you need. The accommodation is spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again.

8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2025
