Best views in Cape Town. Walk up the back of Table Mountain from the door. And Le Colombe on your doorstep.

Stayed in Squirrel Cottage:
- spacious with fantastic view
- comfortable bed
- beautiful bathroom
- lovely little spaces to just wind down and relax
- convenient cupboard kitchen wirh a host of appliances, crockery and cutlery and complimentary coffee, tea and cookies
- no drying up cloth for the kitchen basin
- coffee machine leaking
- moving plugs around everytime to switch between either the kettle and the microwave or the coffee machine and the microwave. I.e. not enough plugs available
- cracked glass over the shower
- no blinds in the bathroom
- water from the shower runs out into the courtyard and then through the gutter pipe which ends at the pathway/stoep in front of the cottage

Location , wine tasting and drumming was the highlight . Entertainers at drumming and Kodo staff were the best. Naomi at breakfast was amazing.
No contact in the evening with reception. Kettle was not working , no one to contact. The room was discounted but not worth the original price. It’s a bit oldish eg: toilet paper on an iron gadget on the floor instead of attached to the wall.
