Stayed for one night for an exhibition I was attending the next day, check process very easy. Room was clean and although, a little tatty in places, was perfectly serviceable. This place can be booked for cheap money so dont expect the Ritz, if you want a cheap friendly place to stay thats clean and comfortable this is the place for you.
Marked one point lower as WiFi only in the bar area although, did get told that they are sorting this out soon
Nothing as it was expected for budget accommodation

I've stayed here a few times and like this place. It offers basic accommodation at a pretty reasonable price. The faded decor is a bit of a timepiece, so this makes it quite charming in a way. Similarly, the social club downstairs, with snooker, darts and some good-natured locals. Amenities just over the road. Definitely recommend for a motel-like no frills convenience stop for a night or two.
The rooms can be a bit on the grubby side (cosmetically, not unhygienically !), and the there was an odour from the shower drain during one stay. Also, another time, the mattress was unevenly lumpy, which made sleeping a bit weird. There were mosquitos getting in during the summer too, as keeping the window open due to no AC was essential.

Cheap Cheerful Approachable Staff Close to Hospital.

The comparatively low price. The heater in the room works great.
There is no WiFi access in the rooms. For that, you have to go to the bar downstairs, which is not a conducive environment for working. I did not enjoy sleeping in my bed because the mattress was sunken in the middle.
