Great hotel when traveling to/from Calais. Attentive staff. Good parking. Great restaurant on site. Good shower, tea & coffee in the room. We are sure to be back here.
Nothing to dislike.
8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026
The hotel has been modernised and decorated, and was a pleasant place to stay. The room and bed were comfortable, and the breakfast served in an adjacent building was self service, and adequate. Next door is an excellent restaurant serving a wide range of well prepared and well presented meals, with staff able to help interpret the french menu!
The hotel is part of a large and well run caravan site, but has its own quiet location seperate from the tourist park, in which there is in season a bar and a snack bar serving food cheaper and more "popular" than the restaurant, and a popular swimming pool. The location is well kept, and a good place to wander through the trees and relax after a journey.
Guines is a village that is a very convenient stop between Calais and the motorway network.
We did not realise that check-in might be in the adjacent restaurant during its opening hours, but this was no problem.
