The location is superb. On a quiet lane (the old main road) overlooking the classic village square with plane tree and the gorge beyond. Very good centre for walks and access to Vikos Gorge. Friendly café alongside (though not always open). It is quite useful to be able to read Greek characters (see the photos for hotel nameboards).
The only negative was the small car park area which was selfishly used by some guests taking up too much space - not really the hotel's fault.

The bed was the best one we have slept in during our month long trip in Europe.
The breakfast, was wonderful, even for me and my partner who are gluten free and vegan.
The location was very pretty, and served us for our plans in the area.
No complaints, honestly. Everything was better than expected.

Bed was comfortable. Fabulous old building with period features.
When checking in, the older lady asked me several times if I had paid and each time I replied that I had via booking.com and have a receipt. The older lady then called a younger woman who took over the check-in process and she also asked me had I paid, I repeated that I had. Finally she confirmed my payment that was made at time of booking online. When sitting in our car and just about to leave, the older woman came out onto the road, approached us and proceeded to question us about payment again and saying we had not. We became irritated by this and repeated we had paid. Maybe this older lady does not understand or should not be managing the business and just stick to organising breakfast. We are not thieves or after freebies - humiliating really. I have also just checked my confirmation from booking.com and I did book the Superior Room but was given a room with two double beds and a fireplace. Did not get the room I paid for.
