The room was large and clean. The staff were welcoming and we got some freebies. We got complimentary drinks which was excellent. The hotel is 5-8mins drive from the Sciphol Airport. I used the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport which was exceptional.
One of the bathroom sinks was plugged and unable to drain. The other sink was functional.

Bastion has two hotels; one is schiphol, the other is airport, both are in Hoofddorp.
for a traveler like me, Schiphol and Airport are the same. You should consider renaming one of them to avoid confusion.

The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The shuttle was on time. The McDonald’s nearby was great and super clean.
The breakfast was too expensive.
