Very cosy and comfortable
Draughty windows in the exceptional winds....good curtains held the draft back, but still felt the cold and wind noise.

Near to M6. Modern decor and nice style. Easy ground floor access. Good parking with electric charging.
Breakfast was excellent. Good choice. Good value.
Pleasant service.
Evening meal was excellent. Good menu, nicely prepared and presented. Attentive waiter. Very good price. Nice ambiance.
Bed a little hard.
Shower cabinet a bit black at the edges.
Otherwise all good.

Really nice place, we loved the bar and restaurant. Loads of parking space

We sent two separate messages- a few days before checking in - asking if we could arrange a late checkout but never received a reply . One message was sent via Booking dot com and one was then sent via email, but no response .
The bathroom could have been cleaner / the bin wasn’t emptied after the previous guests, as well as unsuspecting things in the shower tray/sink
We asked a member staff (in the evening), if a late checkout would be possible in the morning but was told to ask again in the morning.
I got dressed in the morning, (because no phone in the room to dial to reception) and stood waiting for about five minutes with no staff around, to eventually be told … “late check out is not something we offer’

The room (a family one)was a good size. It was quiet.
The bed was too hard and uncomfortable. It is a shame that they haven’t kept the rooms up to scratch. It needed repainting. Also a deep clean was needed.
