Das es nicht für alle Parkplätze gibt! Parkhaus ist dann notwendig abseits von der Unterkunft.

The location is unbeatable. Everything else was as expected, and when I asked for an extra pillow I got it. However, as with many places in Germany, you get what you pay for. I was in the double room on the top floor (3rd floor not counting ground floor). As a fairly short person, I had no issues with the space, but if you have a lot of luggage or are tall (over 6 ft), you might have some challenges. The ceiling is quite low, and the staircase from the 2nd to the 3rd floor is steep and narrow (with just a backpack, it is fine). But the room itself is quite spacious, with a separate foyer/hallway between the bedroom and the bathroom to store your boots, bags, and whatnot – which I really liked! The windows face the street, and if you visit during peak season, I can't imagine it is very restful. I was there in early October, and found it fine, but you will hear the early morning workers in the city around 5 am if your windows are open. The bed is actually two twin mattresses combined, so there is a bit of a divot in the middle, which if you are traveling alone is not ideal, but certainly not bad. I was only given one pillow for the bed, which was a bit surprising and not sufficient, and because I arrived on Wednesday, which is their "ruhetag" (the restaurant is closed), there was no one to ask for a second pillow until the second day. In addition, because of the ruhetag, check-in was a bit wonky, having to make arrangements in advance. The restaurant itself fills up during peak hours, so if you plan to dine there between 5:30pm and 8pm, make a reservation! Everything is cash only - including paying for the rooms and in the restaurant, so plan accordingly. There are ATMs around. Generally I found it a nice stay but at the end of two days I was ready to get home to my own bed.

See the review above for some nuanced critique. Generally fine, certainly worth the rates offered, and the location is unbeatable. Some small things could be improved, but otherwise it's all rather what you would expect.

De locatie was goed

Er was geen waterkoker, de drempels zijn we wel tien keer over gestruikeld, maar het ergst was wel de houding van de dame waarvan ik denk dat het de eigenaar. Ik ben inmiddels al een paar dagen terug en heb weinig zin om een heel negatief verhaal te doen terwijl ik terug kijk op een leuke vakantie. Dus: Ik zou zeggen ga daar Wernigerode, maar boek een ander hotel.
